Q: How does the payment work?
A: You will pay 50% of the package price as a deposit in advance to reserve your date. You can do so by credit card through your contract or e-transfer if you'd prefer. The other 50% is due 4 weeks before your wedding date or on the date of your shoot (for engagements / lifestyle).
Q: How does lighting work?
A: I like to shoot 1 hour before the sun sets for best lighting, not too bright but super soft. This may be hard with kids and bedtime so I always suggest a late nap & to bring lots of snacks/treats! I shoot during the day for newborn sessions to ensure there is enough light in the house. We will go over your house layout, amount of windows & lighting situation beforehand to ensure good photos.
Q: What if my kids are wild during the shoot?
A: No stress. Kids feed off of your energy so let’s keep it light and fun. If they want to run around, throw rocks and get dirty, let them. This is real life! Bring their favourite treats and bribe them with ice cream after because let’s face it, these shoots don't happen often!
Q: How do I receive my images?
A: Once your images are ready, you will receive an email that contains the online link to your gallery. You will also get a password for logging-in to your gallery and then it will prompt you to create your own password. You can simply download your images however you like, whether you want them on your phone or your computer. You can download one-by-one or the collection as a whole and you have the choice to download web or full resolution images.
Most of all... I want you to enjoy your images, print them, share them with friends and family! They're meant to be loved and cherished for years to come.
Q: Can I pay in installments?
A: You certainly can. Feel free to send a message for more information.
Q: Do we need a second shooter or engagement session
A: A second shooter is recommended if you have 120+ guests or multiple locations. It’s great to have someone to capture your fiancé’s getting ready while I capture yours, get the extra angles, get extra shots of guests and for when I can't be in 2 places at once (recommended but not a necessity). I highly suggest an engagement session. It's a way for us to get to know each other better before the big day. You understand how I work and I understand how to capture you two better!
